Joyce Tait

Unconventional, disruptive and interdisciplinary, Joyce is Co-Director of the Innogen Institute, which she co-created in 2002 to implement a user-focused approach to innovation regulation, risk governance and stakeholder engagement.

Joyce was a member of the prestigious Council for Science and Technology that advises the Prime Minister on strategic science and technology policy issues that cut across the responsibilities of individual government departments.

An unapologetic free-thinker, Joyce wrote the manual for responsible innovation.

No one is more surprised by her success than Professor Tait herself. Despite being a self-confessed disruptor, Joyce’s CV includes an array of impressive, and conventional, successes.
