A membership community dedicated to supporting women Advancing Eve is a social enterprise and membership community dedicated to supporting women in achieving their aspirations. Offering a board range of support including personal and professional development opportunities, wellbeing apps, discounts and events. There are six key themes: educate, empower, engage, enterprise, events and grants offering a broad range of support on offer, members can pick and choose what’s right for them, no matter their age or stage in life. Advancing Eve is a passion project of mother and daughter duo Emily and Lara McGowan. Lara is a current student studying Business with Marketing at the University of Edinburgh. We are currently collaborating with Advancing Eve to bring you Power Her Up, a support programme designed to encourage and support female entrepreneurs at the University of Edinburgh. Power Her Up aims to create a network of supportive women to form a community and share knowledge and experiences, help build your confidence and break down limiting beliefs and provide networking opportunities. Any student or recent graduate part of the Power Her Up programme can also receive a subsidised membership for Advancing Eve. Feeling inspired?
