EPSRC IAA Rapid Call - Innovation Associate & Impact Booster

A rapid EPSRC IAA Impact Booster/Innovation Associate Call is now open with a deadline on 6 November at 12noon. The Impact Booster supports additional impact for projects that have already been identified as having potential for impact of high reach and significance. The Innovation Associate call will fund early career researchers in pursuing innovation and impact opportunities. This is a short-term funding opportunity from EPSRC. Projects must finish by 15 March 2027. The award maximum is £20,000 per project.

  • Review panel meeting: Mid-November 
  • Application outcomes: End of November 
  • Earliest start date: 1 December 2026 
  • Latest end date: 15 March 2027 

  

Scope of the call

Impact Booster supports projects identified as REF Impact prospects for their recognized potential for impact of high reach and significance. 

Innovation Associate supports for Early Career Researchers to undertake activities that sit mainly within EPSRC’s remit and aims and with a clear focus on progressing an opportunity for innovation or impact outside academia.
